Allison Hester

Choreographer

Allison was born and raised in Abilene and has provided choreography for our choir department since 2013. As a student at AHS, she performed in fall musicals and was a member of Concert Choir, Pure Gold, and the Gold Rush Drill Team. She studied dance at local studios and taught dance and musical theatre at Abilene Performing Arts Company. In 2018, Allison graduated cum laude from McMurry University with a B.A. in History Education and teaches World History at Abilene High. She is currently the Resident Choreographer for the Hardin Simmons University Theatre Department and provides choreography for various high school and collegiate dance teams as well as other choirs within the AbileneISD. Allison is passionate about the importance of the performing arts in schools and enjoys traveling.
